contractor, and completed project just two months behind original timeline and
40% under budget. Won top performance award.
Initiated significant systems upgrade to boost operating efficiency. Key region of $2B healthcare giant, Sisters of
Charity of Leavenworth, was using multiple operating systems to manage its
complex business and the results were consistently unsatisfactory. Consolidated
15 host servers into one custom system, training all 5000 end-users to optimize
overall organizational performance. Delivered project $7M under budget and 32
months ahead of schedule.
Designed/delivered
vital business system improvement project. American Bank selected ISC to merge its multi-branch loan operations
into one site. Devised and implemented seamless system, complete with
intelligent data routing. Reduced loan processing time 75%+, error rates by 50%
and overall loan production costs by 30%.
Played key role in
turnaround. NetBeam, a $2M Internet/WISP firm,
was struggling to stay relevant in a highly competitive region. Orchestrated
development of a fully-functional wireless infrastructure in several states
including CO, UT and NM. Achieved 99% network availability vs. 80% at beginning,
while slashing operating costs by 30%.
Revamped business
plan/performed key system upgrades to enable greater success for start-up. Prairie iNet (now a prosperous $50M Internet/WISP company) was using
an unreliable system design that was adversely impacting its growth. Set
strategic vision for company, complete with new technical business plan.
Initiated 3 separate system upgrades, employing leading edge technology to
increase overall capacity/facilitate major multi-state growth.
Orchestrated
successful joint venture. Idaho DOE needed
enhanced network connectivity for end-users at its multiple nuclear facilities.
Partnered with Microsoft and Novell, delivering WAN/LAN systems project on
time/within budget. Connected all locations and different site systems,
significantly improving data transport and management.
Launched
successful broadband startup. Seized
opportunity for wireless ISP business in competitive MT region. Authored
business plan, secured funding and set strategic vision, quickly leading Global
Net to profitability based upon stellar technical performance/service. Landed
lucrative contracts with Prairie iNet and NetBeam among others.
